Whoops, way behind on sharing updates
Since last I posted, I finished writing a novel and have been in edits on it. I'm nearly to the point where The Lonely Worlds is ready to start going up somewhere. I've made a bunch of Youtube shorts. I've also written a short story for my John Doe series and I plan to release it for free (including a Youtube video of me reading it) next week.
You don't have to wait for next week, though. I've read two public domain stories in keeping with The Season and you can go watch / listen to them now.
The first is Transformation by Mary Shelley. Yep, the author of Frankenstein wrote a bunch of Gothic short stories too. Transformation is my favorite and I'm happy to share it with you.
The second is The Flayed Hand by Guy De Maupassant. It's about a 12 minute listen if you listen at 1X speed. I don't know much about Guy but I found the story captivating and I hope you will too.
